Argyle Guest House seems like it came straight out of a postcard or a film, acting as a convenient and picturesque base for a holiday in the Highlands. There are plenty of hiking, horse, and bicycling trails nearby, as well as opportunities to go golfing, observe and record wildlife, explore castles, and really experience a personal taste of Scottish culture. Little traffic noise is reported, so you're likely to have a quiet and restful sleep little disruption while being onsite.

The hosts are a charming couple who make sure that everything is to your liking, and that you have what you need and when you need it. They'll accommodate check-ins and departures that fall outside typical times if given enough notice, and provide a genuine and hearty welcome to all guests, including canine companions.

Breakfast impresses, and exceeds expectations! The homemade bread is delicious, with the only complaint being that your stay is seemingly never long enough to grow tired of the meals or snacks. If you need a particular breakfast time to allow for a very early or late schedule, the hosts will still see to it that you have a freshly prepared meal.

Although some guests adore the older setting, several also wish it was updated and more contemporary. The pricing is considered to be a bit high for furnishings that have seen much better days.
