Hotel Arcadia Boutique (Venice, Italy)

Hotel Arcadia is a quick walk from the train, buses and Vaporetto and is easy to reach from the airport. You can walk to the city's many attractions, including the Rialto Bridge and St. Mark's, within 20 minutes. Cannaregio is a vibrant area and the streets around the hotel are bustling with lots of restaurants, quaint bars and shops. Despite the activity around the hotel, soundproofing is good so it's quiet and restful inside. It's perfectly located away from the crowds around St. Mark's yet easily accessible to the sights.

The free daily breakfast is plentiful and very tasty. The quality and freshness are excellent as is the coffee, and the service is top notch. It's served in a beautiful, large room with exposed beams and a stunning Murano chandelier. If you have an early flight or train to catch, they'll prepare breakfast for you to take with you. Another perk is the complimentary drinks/snacks in the afternoon.

The hotel is set in a beautiful historic building with lovely high ceilings, exposed beams and elegant chandeliers yet offers modern comfort and service. Rooms are well appointed and clean with comfortable beds and lovely bathrooms with high-end fixtures and toiletries. Overall, it offers good value for Venice.

Reception is located up a flight of stairs, which might be difficult if you have lots of luggage. That said, the stairs and reception are lovely and you can always ask the staff for assistance.

Certain room types are small but they are very clean and comfortable. If you need space, inquire about a larger room.

Hotel Arcadia can be easy to miss from the street; there's a small sign and single door entrance, so keep an eye out.
