The apartments are located in different buildings in central Krakow, but the letting office is available for any queries guests might have. For those not self-catering, the central position of the apartments mean that there are a large number of great dining options in the surrounding streets. Staff at the letting office will be happy to offer their personal recommendations. All the apartments are centrally located, and especially convenient for visiting the spectacular Wawel Royal Castle, which would be well within walking distance. Krakow Airport is approximately 10 miles from Apartwawel Apartments, and is reachable by public transport.
This was definitely the thing that most impressed the guests about the apartments. They are all in very central locations, very close to the Wawel Royal Castle. So guests had just a short walk to get to interesting sites and in addition were in the midst of great cafes, bars and nightlife.
Guests mention that, while the exteriors of the buildings are somewhat severe and foreboding, the interiors are both comfortable and very stylishly modern. They liked that they were in a historical building in the Old Town, but still had all the modern conveniences they could possibly want.
Surprisingly, several guests went out of their way to point out that both the area the apartments were in, and the buildings themselves, felt very safe. Perhaps they were expecting something a bit rougher, but they were certainly pleased that they didn't need to constantly be wary of any safety concerns.
While not a major negative point for many, it was mentioned that the apartments are all accessed by negotiating a large number of stairs. For some this could be a minor irritation, more than made up for by the great location, but guests with mobility issues will really struggle.
While guests did manage to find parking nearby, it was still a bit of a walk to get to the apartments. They would have preferred to have parking in the building, or more practically, available at a location closer by.
Although not a widespread complaint, a few guests mention that their rooms were too small for the number in their party. Rooms are all of a different size, so this will affect some more than others.
