The location of the apartments was said to be very convenient as the beach is within walking distance as well as the centre of Cala d’or with its many shops and cafes. There are plenty of sightseeing attractions in close proximity such as the harbour and lots of picturesque coves that the guests enjoyed visiting.
Many were pleased to find a wide range of things to do on-site including the 3 pools and the poolside bar which stays open until 12pm. Guests can play pool or take part in water aerobics and there is also organised entertainment which was appreciated by many children who stayed here.
Most of the guests complimented the staff for their friendly and helpful manner. Those who experienced problems and issues said that they were dealt with very quickly and efficiently and they felt very well looked after for the duration of their stay.
The apartments are said to contain only the basic items such as beds, wardrobes and cookers with many things such as hairdryers and televisions missing. Guests were critical of the lack of amenities and also objected having to pay for using the internet and the air-conditioning.
The interior of the apartments left many guests unimpressed as the furniture was described as very basic and old fashioned and the bathrooms were also said to be rather dated.
Some guests objected to the loud music from the poolside bar which is played both during the day and in the evenings. Even though the bar closes at 12 pm, some guests remain by the pool during the early hours preventing others from having a peaceful night’s sleep.
