Hotel Ao Nang Cliff View Resort (Ao Nang, Thailand)

The hotel runs a free shuttle service every hour from the morning up until late evening and goes to the centre of Ao Nang and also to the beach which is very handy and only takes around five minutes.

Food is served throughout the day and is at a very reasonable price with the curries in particular getting rave reviews from previous guests who were impressed with how fresh everything was and should you wish to eat out rather than at the hotel then there are plenty of highly recommended places nearby such as the German bar just around the corner which also serves good beer.

The hotel is set in grounds with tall trees and beautiful gardens which give it an amazing jungle feel with many wild animals roaming around such as roosters, peacocks, goats, lizards and monkeys to name but a few.

The accommodation is looking quite tired and run down in places and in need of a refurbishment or at the very least a lick of paint as at the moment it does not look too appealing.

It has been reported by some guests that the beds are nothing more than a piece of wood on the floor and a mattress which is not very comfortable to sleep on and the bed linen was also just a throw which wasn't very clean.

There have been positive reviews of the staff here, but there have also been a handful describing the staff as unhelpful and unfriendly with the reception desk especially receiving negative comments.
