Arjuna Beach is a resort located in Anjuna, Goa that provides accommodation for the budget minded traveller. A much-loved place to stay in the vicinity, the resort sets on a private compound close to shopping, restaurants, and transportation. Guests can be assured of maximum facilities at great prices. They also offer great coffee and traditional Portuguese custard tarts. Other famous restaurants you might want to check-out are Oasis, Zorba, and Blue Tao.
If you love water sports there will be plenty to choose from. There is paragliding, jet skiing, and plenty more depending on what you favour.
If you want to catch the best of the beach, go early in the morning. The sunset is amazing and you will find good food along the way as the day progresses. Along the beach there are cheap local markets to purchase a variety of goods. The beach has a younger crowd, lots of energy, many shops that offer beach wear. There's a huge flea market too. Unfortunately, the beach is not always an idyllic place.
Food is quite expensive in the resort compared to the many good restaurants in the area.
This is not a family type resort. There is plenty of partying, night clubs, and the like. If you want to travel in the area go for a facility in Calangute or Baga beach.
Yes, the beach is lovely, but it has its drawbacks. First off, beware of the sellers that walk along the beach and the extremely loud music coming from the Curlies/beach shacks. The sound reverberates the length of the beach. There are places with rocks in the sea; however, there are flags that show the safest areas to swim.
