Valencialflats Mercado Central are three-star apartments located in the old town of Valencia, Spain. The Valencia Cathedral is a short stroll away from these apartments. Each apartment is has a separate living room, bathroom and kitchenette. It is equipped with a 32-inch LED television, espresso maker, climate control, sofa bed and double sofa bed. Kitchenette is provided with fridge, microwave, stovetop, cookware, utensils and dishware. Bathroom has a shower and free toiletries. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available in all public areas. Public parking at a nearby location is chargeable. Guests can avail the facilities of tours/ticket assistance, luggage storage, airport shuttle and elevator. Bicycle rentals are available onsite. A number of good bars and restaurants are ten minutes’ walk from the Valencialflats Mercado Central. In Valencia City Centre, the City of Arts and Sciences are within a mile from the apartments.
Apartments are renovated and done up in a contemporary way. They are ideal for a family of four or five members. All the amenities in the living room were sufficient for a comfortable stay. Guests were appreciative of the fact that the kitchen was well equipped to make a full meal. The sofa bed was very comfortable.
A large majority of guests found the location of the apartments to be very conducive. Apartments are located in small plaza with good bars and restaurants. It is close to most of the places of interest like the central market, beautiful monuments, churches, basilica and cathedral. The Placa Reina, which is the tourist hop on hop off bus stop, is just five minutes away from the apartments.
A coded elevator was functional, which made it easy for the guests to reach the top floors especially with their luggage. The balconies around each apartment make it the ideal place to enjoy a drink in the cool breeze.
Some of the guests felt the need of blinds on the windows, especially the one in the bedroom as it becomes difficult to sleep in late in the morning.
Most of the guests were hassled as they had to go to another building to get hold of the keys of the apartments. The reception is a good five to seven minutes' walk. Moreover, the front desk has limited working hours, so Check-in on time is a must.
Wi-Fi connection was very patchy. The public parking area was a five-minute walk from the apartments and the guests felt that the facility of onsite parking would have been way more convenient.
