The Anchor Inn in Ugborough is a four and a half star Bed and breakfast set in the idyllic location of South Devon. There are six rooms and four cabins outside. Each have en suite bathrooms, flat screen TV's and are beautifully decorated. The cabins can accommodate families as well as pets. The B & B itself has a restaurant for breakfast and dinner for staying guests, as well as ample parking and a pub where you can enjoy roaring open fires and fine ales and wine. If guests fancy heading out for dinner, nearby places to visit include The Ship Inn which has great reviews and the Riverside. The Anchor Inn lies on the outskirts of the Dartmoor National Park, twenty minutes from Plymouth and thirty minutes from the beautiful beaches of Torquay. Activities in the local area include horse riding, kayaking and climbing.

The B & B with its restaurant and pub was refurbished in September 2015 giving it a new lease of life which many guests have complimented on. The decor is described as being very modern and cosy and creates a home from home feeling.
Having had a revamp throughout, the B & B is very clean and new. The owners take pride in their business and there are many reviews of how clean it smells and looks throughout the whole year.
The owners allow pets to stay in the Cabins which accommodate families. They are supplied with a bed of their own meaning less to transport when staying.
Many previous guests have complimented the restaurant however others have mentioned how poor the service is, young staff appear to be the issue as well as lack of concern when people complain. Some have actually left and gone to the Ship Inn down the road.
Negatives guests reviews state the bathrooms with showers are wet rooms which creates a wet floor when trying to get dried and ready. Some guests do prefer this especially elderly and disabled as it is much easier to bathe.
Previous guests reviews state there is not enough room for two or more people to hang clothing in the wardrobes when staying, making it impossible to keep clothes looking fresh without the need to iron.
