Many of the local cafés and restaurants supply fresh and local catch, and you can enjoy the perfect oyster straight from the farmer. The Anchor Bay Motel is also a great place to base yourself to explore the greater Shoalhaven area, with Jervis Bay and Huskisson to the south, Nowra to the west, and Kangaroo Valley & Berry to the north – all within a 45 minute drive of the motel. Enjoy great bushwalks at Currarong or the Beecroft Peninsula, mountain bike from the mountains to the sea, find secluded beaches, or enjoy the many tourism activities in the area.
