The rooms are clean and offer basic amenities such as free Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, a table, a chair, a dresser, a small refrigerator and a small microwave, which is why guests felt it to be a great value for your money.

Guests liked how close the hotel is to the historic district, which you can reach in less than 25 minutes of walking. It only takes ten minutes to cross the bridge, which some noted is faster than having to drive across and then deal with trying to find parking. The beach and lighthouse are also within walking distance of the hotel, and it only takes five minutes to drive to the amphitheater and the Bridge of Lyons.

The hotel provides several types of cereal, bagels and muffins for breakfast as well as orange juice, coffee and milk.

The hotel does not have a 24/7 front desk, which makes it difficult to check in or out outside of the service hours or to get maintenance requests handled right away. For people with mobility issues it would be important to note that the hotel also does not have elevators.

A few guests reported that the rooms could use a bit more cleaning, that they smelled unusual and that the water pressure wasn't strong enough. Even though bugs are known to be a frequent problem in Florida, some guests pointed out that they didn't appreciate finding them in their rooms.

According to several guests, the hotel's salt-water pool is quite small, but they noted that this wasn't too much of an issue since the beach was nearby.
