Thailand is known for its parties, and many of these parties can go on for days. Luckily, Ananda Villa is located far enough away that guests will be able to attend these parties, but still be able to leave the area, and get a good night's sleep without any disturbances from said parties.
Guests staying in rooms with balconies overlooking the sea are encouraged to spend an evening just sitting on their balcony, relaxing, and soaking up the sights and sounds of the surrounding ocean. It makes for a great therapy session, or so it has been said.
Ananda Villa is located perfectly for those who wish to have ease of access to shopping and restaurants. The pier is a short walk away, and it is home to many restaurants, both local and commercial, as well as shopping, both commercial and local market-types too.
Anyone expecting opulence should reserve a reservation at another hotel, as this one only provides guests with the basic. The huts used as rooms are cosy and comfortable, but are in no way close to a four-star hotel room one might want while visiting Thailand.
As everyone knows, roosters are nature's alarm clock, cock-a-doodle-doing right before sunrise. Unfortunately, there are a few on the Ananda Villa's property, which like to take their morning calls very seriously, and those who are awoken by these sounds, may not be so appreciative.
Thailand is humid. Guests who are not accustomed to the humidity and the heat may not be aware that this is the ideal climate for the little bloodsuckers. Guests are encouraged to bring their mosquito spray, and any other preventative measures they may be able to think of.
