Hotel Americas Best Value Inn Wilmington (Wilmington, USA)

Guests were happy to see the concerned and patient staff that was ready to help them at any hour of the day. The rooms were comfortable and big enough, along with the clean bed linen and pillows.

The parking area is spacious and well planned to fit in many vehicles. Guests loved the fact that they did not have to wait for someone else to pull their cars out. Moreover, the parking is absolutely free all the time.

Inn At Wilmington is close to many interesting places like Hagley Museum and Library, Nemours Mansion and Garden and DuPont Theater. Wilmington Station (Amtrak) is just 6.5 miles away.

Some of the guests felt that some parts of the property need to be renovated. Absence of a pool was sorely missed by everyone, especially the kids who wanted to take a plunge. They had to use the pool in the neighboring property, which was not very convenient.

A few of the guests had a very bad experience with shower drains and sinks being clogged completely. Standing in the dirty clogged water and taking a shower was not a very comfortable episode. The bath tubs and tiles were stained. They wished the staff had taken more care about maintaining cleanliness levels in the bathrooms.

Many guests felt that the surrounding place was very noisy even at odd hours. Incidents of a fight at 3 am and horn honking have also been reported. One of the reasons for noisy ambience suggested by guests was that the walls of the room were very thin. Some of the guests could even smell cigarette smoke in the bathrooms.
