Breakfast is often included in the room rate and there is enough variety to please almost everyone therefore making it excellent value. The quality of food is also good and therefore a great way to start the day.
It is an older property and is beginning to show its age. Investment is needed in order to bring it up to scratch, from the general decoration to the fixtures and fittings inside. For example the fridges and the microwaves are very old and some feel as though they are on their last legs.
There have been mixed reviews on the cleanliness of this property. Superficially it seems quite good, until you investigate the carpet! Years of dirt have built up and they are in desperate need of replacing or at least a deep clean. Guests have gone as far as to say they would not go barefoot whilst staying here.
Rooms here noticeably smell of smoke and this has been a source of contention for many guests. Even those who have requested a non-smoking room have said that the rooms reek of it and that it is almost completely overwhelming.
