Guests have been met by huge cockroaches that are visible from the moment they opened the door to their room. On closer inspection of the furniture, including the mattress, there are small bugs in all of the cracks. Guests have said that the rooms were so infested that these critters have even got into their personal belongings.
The property is in dire need of a refurbishment with guests going to the extreme of saying it needs knocking down and rebuilding from scratch. There are many maintenance issues here including multiple lights that don’t work, mould everywhere and flooded bathrooms. Guests have not always felt safe here due to locks that haven’t worked properly, people knocking on their door in the middle of the night, lights out of action meaning areas are pitch black and shady characters hanging around outside.
Many guests have said they have been so horrified by the room they have been allocated that they have asked to change rooms or have abandoned their reservation and gone elsewhere. Rooms don’t seem to be cleaned adequately between guests and the beds are covered in dubious stains.
