While many conceded that this hotel does have a dated feel to it, those who researched the property prior to booking felt that this place absolutely fit their needs. Close to I-94 and convenient to so many local attractions, guests passing through the area on a short stop believed that this Benton Harbor hotel represented fantastic value for money.

Retro looks aside, a number of guests were rather complimentary of this property and the amenities it offered. The pool and Jacuzzi were a real hit with guests as was the property's on-site restaurant. This latter amenity was great for those looking for an alternative to the multiple fast food outlets located close to this hotel.

Inside the rooms, the accommodation was rather basic, but many were pleased to note that many units were furnished with decently-sized balconies.

Yes, this is an older property that many feel needs a serious facelift. In addition to this, some guests felt that housekeeping was a real concern here. Dirty carpets - especially in the reception area - were a consistent complaint and visitors felt that, on the whole, rooms could simply be cleaner. Many also noted odd, urine-like smells in hallways.

The neighborhood surrounding the hotel certainly wasn't to everyone's taste; in fact, some commented that it seemed genuinely run-down. This made some guests feel uncomfortable. Additionally, many were disappointed that nearby eating options were limited to a handful of fast food establishments.
