About Amelia Cottage

Named in celebration of Amelia Earhart, who in 1928 became the first woman to fly across the Atlantic and land in Burry Port; the cottage has recently been extensively renovated; it has bags of character, is comfortably furnished and well equipped for your stay. Off street parking for up to 3 cars with gated access to terrace & the sun trap lawned rear garden with summerhouse. The cottage is a 2 minute walk to Burry Port centre shops, pubs, restaurants + railway station with the marina, harbour, lighthouse and town beaches just beyond. Bring your bikes and make use of the fantastic Millennium Coastal Park ( + cycle track) which runs through the harbour. For visitors with young children - a new fully equipped playground has been installed in the park just around the corner.
