Amar Niwas Guest House is a 528 year old Haveli run by a Brahman family so you can stay in a family atmosphere. The guest house is located in heart of old blue city so don't need an auto to visit 4 main monuments. The building is rich in history and the Haveli maintains many of its original features such as stone lattice work balconies, gharokha, antique wooden ceiling and an open central courtyard. There is a plant-filled terrace where you can relax with great views of the Mehrangarh fort and the oldest part of the blue city. There are seven (7) unique atmospheric rooms in the guest house and all the rooms have their own character, well decorated with Indian textiles and great golden paintings on the wall. The rooms have shared and attached bathrooms, with running hot and cold shower 24 hours. There is also one family room in which four adults can stay very comfortably. The property also welcomes groups of maximum 18 people. Amar Niwas has a roof top restaurant with the great view of the fort. The food is cooked by the family members. People can get Indian as well as continental vegetarian and non vegetarian food here.
