While guests did seem to have a few issues with the apartments, after detailing the faults they went on to add that they had received a very good room-rate and felt they had received very decent value for money.

While guests did say there really wasn't a beach to speak of in the area, they were nevertheless quite happy that the seafront was just steps away. They could take a walk along the promenade, and also participate in various watersports, like diving, so didn't seem to miss the beach too much.

Guests mentioned that many of the rooms, and certainly the terrace, have fantastic views over the Mediterranean. They left them in no doubt that they had arrived on gorgeous Menorca.

An alarming number of guests mentioned that the hotel simply didn't have the room that they booked available when they came to check-in. While, as is typical in these circumstances, the excuses flowed freely, guests felt they had simply overbooked to maximise their income. It was certainly not a good start to their holiday.

Unfortunately, like many other hotels, it seems that Vista Faro has not installed any soundproofing between the apartments. As a result, guests complained that they could hear the goings on of the adjacent rooms as if they were going on in their own.

This was quite a serious omission in many guests' eyes. They point out that the apartments have no air conditioning. While it was said doors and windows could be left open, thus causing some cooling airflow, this wasn't practical at night. The result was that many had a hard time sleeping in the sweltering Menorcan heat.
