They are clean, bright, spacious and comfortable. These apartments represent great value for money. The views are stunning ... and get even better from the higher floors.

Gone are the days when this was a sleepy fishing village, forgotten in a remote location a few kilometres along the coast from Playa del Ingles. Now, it is a lively resort in its own right and has all the attractions that holidaymakers demand.

All the images in the publicity material … don't tell a false story. These apartments are as good as they look. You might well consider hiring a car (*they can do this for you) and if so, parking is a ‘doddle' - very easy.

You can be forgiven for thinking that staff members are somewhat ‘slap-dash' in not replenishing toiletries, soap, shampoo etc. However, read the small print and see that they supply a ‘Welcome' Pack. *There's no mention of them replenishing the contents! They only replace towels etc; every now and again, although the apartments are cleaned regularly. Get one that's above the 1st floor for more privacy, otherwise the pool crowds are just outside your window.

If you've been to Puerto Rico, you'll know that most of the accommodation appears to be ‘glued' to the steep rock face behind the beach. Access to almost everywhere is very steep with plenty of steps. Taxis, though, are really cheap.

There's no air-con here and the heat and sun are relentless. You can hire fans, but they aren't very effective at all.
