Galtur is an ideal base from which to explore the five resorts that share the same lift pass, as well as Ischgl and Samnaun. Nightlife is limited compared to other Alpine resorts, but the serenity of the slopes and the efficient and modern lift system is perfect for families, beginners and more discerning skiers. There is an excellent English-speaking ski school and uncrowded pistes, making Galtur one of the best areas to either learn to ski, brush up on technique or build confidence before braving the crowds in Ischgl. The closest international airport is in Innsbruck (approx. 100 km).The board arrangement commences with dinner on the day of arrival and concludes with breakfast on the day of departure: Breakfast buffet and 4 course evening meal with choice of main course and salad buffet.
