The hotel is well positioned to explore the Grindelwald with bus stop right in front of the hotel and town centre and various sports activities within a ten minute walking distance.
The helpful and friendly staff at the Hotel Alpenblick is always willing to help with the guests inquiries and their warm disposition is quite liked by the guests. The staff ensures swift check-in and check-out and makes sure to solve all the guests' problems quickly and help in every possible way.
Guests feel that the hotel provides good value for money with its breathtaking location and stunning views, comfortable rooms, free parking, onsite bar and restaurant, great rooftop terrace and staff is friendly. It gives a relaxing stay and the price is good according to the facilities provided.
There are no plug-in for charging in room and the guests had to charge outside while keep looking at it which is a bit inconvenient for them.
There is no elevator at the hotel, which means walking up to the room upstairs even with your luggage. However, with the breathtaking location, it is not much of an issue.
Few guests complained that the beds are very uncomfortable with thin mattress and old comforters. Again, location of this hotel beats down everything else.
