Hotel Aloft Chesapeake (Chesapeake, USA)

Visitors here mentioned that the rooms in the lobby had a very contemporary, trendy feel. Plus, the guestrooms, while not overly large still provided a fair amount of space and comfort.

Guests mentioned that the hotel is lovely and conveniently located. It doesn't take much walking to get to locations like shops, restaurants or even the movie theater.

The majority of guests felt that the staff treated them kindly and had a welcoming smile whenever they appeared. In addition to being warm, they also seem to know quite a bit about the area and they were happy to impart that information to the guests.

Some visitors mentioned that, given the price of the hotel, they expected at least a complimentary continental breakfast as part of their stay. Those that did pay for the breakfast said they weren't impressed with what they received -- in taste, quantity or the price.

A few guests remarked that the hallways and some areas of the guest bathrooms could be cleaned a bit better. Others commented that since this is a pet friendly hotel they found remnants of animal hair.

Whether it's barking dogs, since it is a pet friendly hotel, or the noise from the live entertainment in the lounge area, some guests said they had difficulty with the sound. They claim that this hotel may not be as quiet as some others in the area.
