Guests loved their stay at Allerdale Court and found it to be full of character and charm. The beautiful spacious rooms with charming old style decor are comfortable, well-furnished and extremely clean. Guests liked the big beds with high quality bed-linens and plenty of pillows.
Guests rated the staff at the hotel as one their best points and loved the cooperative and friendly staff who are genuinely interested in helping the guests and provide prompt service. The staff is very dog friendly and offer special arrangements like arranging the dining table along with your pet and providing water bowl and a mat for your dog and guests loved this gesture.
Guests liked the hotel's bar and find it perfect to relax in after a day out in the Lake District with its cozy atmosphere and a good selection of drinks along with open fire. The restaurant is also great with good food and pleasant service.
The Internet connectivity is really bad and inconsistent at the Allerdale Court. Guests find it really difficult to connect to the Wi-Fi network in the rooms.
Guest find the hotel bathrooms to be dated and in need of an upgrade. Some of the issues highlighted by the guests are dated bathroom fittings, old flooring, chipped off paint and no bathroom mats.
Guests were disappointed that there is no parking at the hotel, just a paid public car park over the road.
