The hotel boasts a wonderful location in the Berlin city centre, with most major sights within walking distance, and most of the city easily accessible via public transport. The main train station and buses are close to the hotel. Guests enjoyed being so close to the canal and many great dining options, as well as shopping in the Friedrichstrasse area.
The staff get many compliments from guests. Reviews describe them as friendly, accommodating and eager to help. They are attentive and efficient in responding to requests or resolving problems.
Make sure to set your alarms so you don’t miss out on the complimentary breakfast. The buffet has a large selection, and a wide variety of foods to choose from. There’s something to suit every palate.
The rooms are often described as small, as are the bathrooms. The layout is quite simple and minimalistic, and the rooms lack in some modern aspects. Negative guest comments say that the TV is very small and outdated, there are no coffee/tea making facilities, and there is a shortage of electrical outlets in the room.
