The building that houses the 3-star Hotel Alemagna was built in the 1920s as the family home of one of the oldest families of San Vito. During the Second World War it was used for various purposes, such as the dormitory of the German troops. In the ’50s it was purchased by the family that undertook the hotel business and who continues to manage the property today. The building has undergone numerous renovations over the years, the last being in 1990. Located in the Centre of San Vito di Cadore, just 11 km from Cortina d’Ampezzo, Hotel Alemagna is a family-run hotel has a fitness area and a restaurant with buffet breakfasts and dinners of local recipes.
