Hotel Alea (Ialyssos, Greece)

This hotel is a five minute walk from the beach, and the pool is exquisite. Bars, restaurants, and shopping are all an easy walk.

This hotel is run by three brothers and one of them is always there to answer questions, make sure you have everything you need, and to suggest interesting places to go.

This is a local gathering so if you want to experience traditional Greek culture, then check out the bar in the evening. Drinks are made available any time requested and very Greek.

If you require air conditioning it is available, but at an additional charge. There are additional fees for late check out, safes, Wi-Fi, and transportation.

If you have a family to accommodate then the rooms are a little too small to make it comfortable for everyone. Guests who stayed with their families reported that there were never enough linens, and that while the pool was nice, it was too small for more than a couple of families to enjoy at a time.

For those staying in rooms facing the road, the vehicle noise is constant. Most guests reported that it was much quieter on the poolside of the facility. Still, walls were reported to be quite thin and neighbours could hear the other's television sets in the evenings.
