Rooms at the property are spacious and well maintained by housekeeping staff. Despite the fact the building is old, it's well kept and very elegantly decorated. Guests said these factors usually led to very pleasant stays.

The property is adjacent to a popular nightclub, and some guests were disturbed by outside noises coming from that direction. You may want to ask for a room at the rear of the building, because guests said those were quieter.
Because the property does not have a lift, it may be completely off limits if you have mobility challenges, and create hassles if you have heavy suitcases. In some cases, guests said their rooms were up several flights of stairs.
Guests often reported a lack of hot water when taking a shower. In some cases, that issue was reported to management and guests were told that the issue was related to the building's age and old plumbing system.
