Airport Motor Lodge is one of the closest motels to Wellington International and other local airports, being only a 5 minute drive or a 30 minute walk from the airport. Airport Motor Lodge consists of 18 large, modern separate studio rooms, where there is a lift up to the 2nd level. All rooms are sound-proofed, have air conditioning with blackout curtains, are all cleaned daily and operate with a card door lock system. There is also a kitchenette in each room along with private baths, showers or spa bath (depending on room choice) along with a hairdryer, iron, safe, electric blankets, telephone and flat screen TV. The rooms are non-smoking, wheel chair accessible and Wi-Fi is provided. The Lodge offers a free shuttle service and there is plenty to see and do as the lodge is only 600 metres from 3 film studios and close to the Miramar Golf Course, it is also close to Westpac Stadium and Wellingtons waterfront is just a 15 minute drive away, and if you don’t fancy eating in house, there is a Greek restaurant and Chinese restaurant nearby by Airport Motor Lodge was a Hotelclub hotel awards 2011 finalist and also voted best district hotel in 2012 by Travelbug.
