Hotel Adriana (Split, Croatia)

The hotel boasts a perfect beach front setting in the heart of Split. Its location yields to gorgeous views of both the water and the city. Guests say it’s extremely easy to get around the city from here and see all the major sights, including Diocletian’s Palace. With an address on the boardwalk, you’ll be steps away from a plethora of fine dining, unique shopping, and lively entertainment. In addition, the bus, railway, and ferry stations are all conveniently within walking distance.

Make plans to dine at the hotel’s beachfront restaurant – most guests loved the food there. The breakfasts alone are worth waking up for and known for the fantastic omelettes. The staff will also gladly accommodate your meal to you diet. Guests especially loved dining on the terrace.

The bathrooms at the hotel receive many complains. For starters, guests think that they are in need of refurbishment and redesign. The showers, especially, appear old and in need of maintenance. Guests say despite the posted directions, they system is very complicate to use.

Like many other hotels in the older part of Split, the building is surrounded by pedestrian-only roads. If you have a lot of luggage, keep in mind that no car or taxi can drive you straight to the hotel entrance and you should expect to walk a bit.

If you like going to bed early or are a light sleeper, keep in mind that the Riva promenade is a busy area and it can be noisy at times.
