The Adelphi Bed and Breakfast is a converted three star townhouse with 5 twin, double or family rooms, within 1 mile from Newcastle City Centre. In each of the rooms there is an en-suite bathroom, large screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities and free Wi-Fi. The B & B is traditionally furnished and has a dining room for breakfast. Parking is in a nearby car park which is chargeable and check out is 10.30am. Included in the price is a full english breakfast in the contemporary dining room. Dinner can be eaten out in nearby restaurants such as Scalini's and Fratello's on Osbourne road. This is where you will also find many other chic bars and restaurants. Newcastle has a lot to offer visitors such as The baltic, the Quayside, the sage music centre, trout fishing, horse riding and is only 1.5 miles from St James' Park.
Jesmond is a very popular area in Newcastle with Osbourne road as the main hub with many restaurants and bars. The B & B is situated on Fern Avenue which links onto Osbourne road. Many guests favour the location.
The house benefits from large bay windows making the rooms well lit. Previous guests have mentioned how clean the room was upon arrival and how spacious it felt, especially families who have stayed.
The B & B definitely offers value for money with its location, staff and room size. Fern Avenue is in the heart of Newcastle giving all guests easy access to plenty of amenities and entertainment.
Unfortunately there is not a car park with this bed and breakfast but they do supply a parking permit so you can park on the roadside for £1 a night.
Breakfast is served between 7.30am - 8.30am week days and up to 9.30am on a weekend, making it an early start for most through the week. This has been mentioned by guests but has not put them off coming back again.
