Actual Barcelona offers a choice of smaller rooms or larger suites. All are clean, fresh and well-spaced so that even the smallest options feel light and airy. Décor is elegant and tastefully executed with plenty of darker tones to keep rooms feeling comfortable and relaxing. Rooms also feature floor to ceiling windows which not only allows plenty of natural light in but also offers fantastic views of Barcelona.

The entire property from front desk through to the cosy library/reading lounge and buffet breakfast area is kept spotlessly clean. This hotel is top-notch with not a single sign of poor maintenance to be found anywhere.

Actual Barcelona staff are well-trained and professional while still offering personal and friendly service. Most staff members are fluent in numerous languages which makes sorting out requests or issues very easy. A friendly and helpful tour desk in the lobby is also a must for new tourists to the city.

Business travellers should choose rooms wisely as some are noisier than others. Choosing rooms close to the lifts, which are always busy, or lower floor rooms close to the busy street will not be conducive to good sleep or productivity.

The hotel offers a wide range of continental breakfast options including a variety of meats and cheeses in a buffet-style service. The continental breakfast however, is not included in the room rate and is charged for as an additional service.

The free Wi-Fi which is available in all rooms and public spaces is not always a reliable option as peak usage times sees almost no usable bandwidth and very slow internet services, not a good option for business applications.
