Superb morning meals.
The breakfast service at Acorn Lodge is full of fresh ingredients and flavour. Considering the lodge's overall value and dedication to quality, the included breakfast is a fantastic balance of value and luxury, and will keep you full throughout your day.
The rooms offered at Acorn Lodge are especially great if you plan to travel with a group, or even your entire family. There are a number of sizing options available to you, and the family rooms also include a large sitting area and ample space to store your luggage and any extra items.
The design at Acorn Lodge is decidedly clean and well-maintained, but also very traditional and old in some ways, which can make it stand out or appear less appealing. Many of the linens, wall patterns, and overall colour schemes could benefit from an upgrade.
Much like the decor, some of the furniture at Acorn Lodge is too outdated to be considered luxury or in its prime. The beds and their springs tend to be worn out, and the linens aren't as soft or as plush as they likely once were.
Some of the fixtures in Acorn Lodge are louder than you might expect, including the plumbing and the heating systems. While these don't affect the actual operation of the building, they can be off-putting, and might disturb you if you're a light sleeper.
