If you are a fan of spectacular mountain views the Achnabobane Farmhouse is just the accommodation for you. This B&B in the Nevis Range reminds guests how wonderful the country can be with amazing views in the day and bright stars on a clear night.
Though there are shared bathrooms which are not too big either, guests say the cleanliness more than makes up for the limited space. In addition to the lovely mountain views in the rooms, you will find them clean, modern and well presented.
Breakfast at the B&B has won brownie points with several guests who commended on the good taste and variety. Guests find the host warm, friendly and helpful.
While many guests find the multitude of house rules at the B&B rigid, some say that they are acceptable for a guesthouse. But most guests were thrown by the fact that they had to leave their shoes in the hall way. They would have preferred to be notified in advance that shoes are not allowed to be worn or overshoes should be supplied as an alternative.
Some guests did not enjoy their sleep as they found the beds too hard for comfort. Some say the location was further from town than they liked it to be while many guests found the Wi-Fi being intermittent to almost non-existent.
The tea trays in the rooms provided only powdered creamers which did not suit guests who preferred to drink tea. Guests who love to surf channels on TV found the list limited.
