Playa Park Hotel is situated just 100 metres from Playa Larga beach and its lovely promenade in the popular holiday resort of Salou. Some of the standard double room features include en suite facilities, free Wi-Fi, TV and balcony, and upgrades are available to rooms with a sea view. The hotel offers a varied day and evening entertainment programme and boasts a swimming pool, a children’s playground and mini golf. There is also a recreation room featuring billiards and arcade games. At Playa Park guests can choose from bed and breakfast, half-board or full-board. The buffet restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and snacks are also available to purchase throughout the day from the café or terrace bar. The resort centre of Salou is just 400 metres away. Here guests will find many shops, bars and restaurants. The vibrant and cultured city of Barcelona is approximately 90-minutes away.

Many previous guests were impressed with the entertainment package provided by the hotel with some guests saying that it was good on a few nights, but really good on the other nights. A special mention was given to the children’s bingo and the chance for them to win prizes.
The staff were praised for being very helpful and friendly throughout the stay. They were described as very polite and always going out of their way to make guests feel welcome. The efficiency of staff was also mentioned and how they worked hard to ensure that the rooms and the hotel were clean and spotless.
The food was enjoyed by previous guests who mentioned the high quality. They enjoyed the buffet style on offer and how there was always something that they would like. Some also mentioned that there was a lot of fish and meat available.
As the Playa Park is located on the top of a small hill some guests found that this was a bit too steep for their liking when they returned from the beach. This may be an issue for those with mobility issues or for guests with children and prams.
There is a safe and a fridge available in rooms, but guests discovered that there is actually an extra charge incurred for using these amenities.
The majority of guests really enjoyed the entertainment provided and the variety on offer, but for a handful of guests who had a pool view it was too noisy as it can continue to a late hour.
