Cooking facilities are included within the apartments so you have no need to go out, however, there are local supermarkets such as Tesco nearby where you can buy shopping and walk back to the hotel. No need for a car.
The interior of the apartments are described as traditional and many guests have mentioned it looks tired in this day and age.
The building has three floors of apartments. Those guests staying on the top floor have complained about the lack of lift and narrow staircase making it difficult to get bags and cases to the top. There is a steel cased lift however on these occasions it seems this hasn't been working.
Due to the location of the hotel, there is unfortunately no parking which has been mentioned by many guests who will not return due to this reason, however there is a tube station very close by enabling guests to travel by train and not car.
