Positive Reviews

positive:

Paradise found.

They say that everyone should visit Santorini at least once. It's easy to see why. Views over the Aegean, peaceful and luxurious accommodation and genuinely relaxed and friendly locals; all combine to make this a holiday for the memory to treasure.

positive:

The accommodation is stunning.

No haggling over who gets the sea-view balcony; all the suites have one. Dig a bit deeper into the financial pot and you can get a Jacuzzi as well! A real plus in the mornings is the nearby bakery; fresh breads, pastries and coffee!

positive:

This is luxury, but not over expensive.

The local tourist office people are gold dust and will give you directions to places you've only ever dreamed of. When it comes to facing reality, transport to the airport and home can be arranged, really quite cheaply. Damn!

Negative Reviews

negative:

Paradise found ... but only with difficulty.

The hotel is close to the village but frustratingly difficult to find. The other side of the coin is that the hotel will offer to have someone wait for you at the main road to make sure you find it.!!

negative:

A noisy reception.

It's just one of those things but ‘everyone' goes past reception. If you've got one of the two suites in the reception area; sorry, you've drawn the short straw.

negative:

Watch the extras.

There are lots of services that come with a not inconsiderable surcharge. Be warned; these costs can mount up very quickly. You need to define, from the beginning, what's 'included' in the price and what isn't.
