The hotel is located on Silkeborgvej in Brabrand with just 10 km to the centre of Aarhus. Hotel Årslev Kro offers many different facilities such as a football field, sand box, playhouse/sand box, swings, green area, outdoor tables and benches, a cosy restaurant as well as motel and hotel rooms, family room, pleasant small rooftop rooms and large business suites. Hotel Årslev Kro is designed as three connected buildings. The first was constructed in the middle of the 19th century and the later additions in 1974. The original building was a farm and was later converted into a "roadside inn". The original main building has been listed as worthy of preserving.
