YHA Aoraki Mt Cook is a cosy, log-cabin esque building with recently refurbished kitchen and bathrooms. Our lounge quite often has a log fire burning which makes it a warm and inviting place to relax at the end of a long day exploring. Take advantage of 2GB of free WiFi per day, guitars available in the lounge, our book exchange, TV lounge, board games, and of course our free sauna. In summer our BBQ and picnic areas are popular; in winter you'll enjoy viewing fresh snowfall from your bedroom whilst appreciating the central heating! Because of YHA Aoraki Mt Cook's stunning location, our hostel guests tend to rise early and get out and about to enjoy the scenery.
