Bryggholmens Gård is a family run hostel located on the beautiful Island Bryggholmen. Only an hour's drive from Arlanda Airport, Stockholm and Uppsala. Here you will enjoy a unique countryside atmosphere, perfect for couples as well as families. The facilities are a part of an estate with rooms and cottages on a small scale farm. You may bring your own food and Cook in our spacious kitchen. We also have outdoor grill facilities. You can hike in the fantastic nature reserve, rent a canoe and paddle around the Island in calm waters, swim, play or just relax! This is the place to be if you want something out of the ordinary. The farm was established in the 16th century as a glassworks of which there is an exhibition on the premises. Since several hundred years people have farmed the Island and shaped the landscape. Unique biotopes can be found here with plenty of wildlife and birds.
