The vast majority of guests mentioning the breakfast found it to be a decent spread that had enough variety to allow them to construct a meal that really set them up for the day.

One of the first things guests mentioned in their reviews was that their room was spotlessly clean when they checked in. They had nothing but praise for the housekeeping staff, who were sad to also do a good job keeping the rooms in tip top shape during a guests stay.

Guests liked the hotel’s location, for a couple of reasons. The most often mentioned was because it was just off the highway, and so convenient when arriving and making trips to the nearby attractions. Another reason mentioned was that there was a good selection of restaurants in the neighborhood, so they never needed to travel far to eat well.

A number of guests reported that their showers were either very low pressure or had a very “eco friendly” shower head that allowed almost no water to come out. They speculated that the reason may be California’s drought and general water problems, but felt that it resulted in a very poor shower.

Quite a number of guests mentioned that the room rate they received was much higher than they normally pay for a hotel room of this kind. While they didn’t directly address value for money, they seemed to feel that they could get an equivalent room elsewhere at a lower price.

A number of guests pointed out that there is an abandoned building, apparently an old bowling alley, almost next door. It was said to be a major eyesore with graffiti and other signs of decay.
