This great location enjoys very easy access to the local race track. Also, it’s really close to the highway but there’s next to no noise. If this is a potential problem for very light sleepers; on arrival, rooms to the left are the quietest.
This is a very quiet hotel; perhaps a little dated in places, but nothing significant. It certainly represents excellent value. Rooms are spacious and the Jacuzzi in the upgraded suites is a great place to relax and unwind.
The complimentary hot breakfast is appetizing, well presented and comes with plenty of choices..
It’s wonderful to have two TVs … but why do they bother with it, when there’s only one remote control! Air con is broken in some rooms and has been left unrepaired. Electrical power points in the rooms are few and far between. The elevator is ‘very, very’ slow.
The couch is uncomfortable to sit on and dated. Beds are hard too. They can’t do everything at once, though. Maybe the furniture is next on the renovation list. Also, it's very frustrating to have a WiFi signal as bad as this. Business people, in particular, book in here because of the advertised WiFi. To then find that it doesn’t work is very annoying
The room where the pool is situated is itself, very cold. If this is the temperature of the room, it makes you wonder how cold the pool might be. Brrr! *Not inviting!
