You can’t really go wrong with a hotel that’s so centrally located especially if in the area on business. It’s so easy to get around the town, and there’s plenty to see and do. Everything you could want is within easy walking distance.
To say the breakfast is plentiful would be an understatement. There is a lot to choose from, and it’s all prepared very well. The rest of the meals are tasty, and the service from the staff is beyond compare.
The entire building from the lobby right up to the rooms is spick and span and cleaned thoroughly every day. The housekeeping staff know their game and do their best to keep everything in tip top shape.
The place is in good condition but the décor is from the 80s, and you really feel like you’ve stepped back in time upon entering your room. The friendly staff do their best, but there’s no escaping that the place needs to be renovated.
This hotel is actually rooms over a pub, and if you’re unlucky you’ll get a room that is affected by the noise of the late night revelers making their way out onto the street. This is not ideal if you need a good night’s rest or have an early start.
Although they do their best to keep the bathrooms clean, it seems to be a losing battle they are fighting. The pub toilets are not exactly pleasant while the hotel room bathrooms have a number of issues such as loose tiles and fittings.
