The infinity pool, which boasts an excellent situation overlooking the harbor, is very popular and well-rated by guests, with the majority of reviewers commenting on it. Guests also enjoyed the private beach club, where activities such as snorkeling are available as well as casual meals and drinks.

Most guests agree the location of the hotel is excellent, with downtown, shops and restaurants all within easy walking distance. Some mention that the beach is not walkable, which is a downside, but most felt the short cab ride was acceptable.

Very few reviewers fail to mention the quality of the service at this hotel. Most felt they were very friendly and knowledgeable, and guests who happened to be at the resort when a hurricane hit were pleased to see the staff were capable and dedicated in ensuring their safety.

A surprising number of reviewers felt their room was overpriced for what they received. Several say they have paid far less for comparable rooms elsewhere, though in general there are no complaints about the standard of accommodation - only that they should perhaps be priced a little lower. Guests also mention that the restaurants at the hotel are some of the most expensive in Bermuda.

Some reviewers say they found the hotel to be noisy - mainly those with rooms near the pool or near 1609, where parties and functions are held on occasion.

There are some complaints, particularly from guests who have stayed at the hotel before, that the recent renovation has meant the resort lost a little of its charm. Mostly guests found the lobby and other common areas to be a little less welcoming than they once were.
