Once upon a time there was the Grandparents' House where it would smell like baked bread and scented lavender from the bouquets which grandmother carefully placed in closets. Here, time would pass differently, and your soul would fill with ease and beauty. Dear Traveller, La Roata*** Pension, in the heart of Bucovina (Northern Romania, Gura Humorului), wants to take you on a journey in time, during childhood spent with your grandparents. Our five cottages from the beginning of the 19th century, brought and rebuilt wood by wood and piece by piece on o ur property, can help you do just that: Anastasia, Vasile, Dumitru, Zenovia and Elisabeta. Every object, every corner of them tell a story, so we have kept them authentic for you, dear Traveler, in order to help you (re)live for a few days a piece of the life half a century ago. Also, we thought about your comfort, so we added to our cottages central heating, a bathroom, TV, so you won’t miss the commodities you are accustomed to. We invite you to spend a few days in a place where the authentic goes hand in hand with culinary refinement and good taste in all. At La Roata*** time passes differently. Come and see!
