The rooms have functional features and provide a good night's stay at a very reasonable rate. Members receive welcome packages at check in and all guests can look forward to both a pool and a hot tub.

The staff here really goes out of their way to provide any extras that might make for a more pleasant stay. They are very helpful and welcoming and really seem to care if you are comfortable. They try hard to fix problems immediately. If problems can't be fixed, they quickly offer a room change or sometimes offer a rate reduction.

For area business, this hotel is centrally located. It's just off the interstate and on the main road into downtown Lansing. There are several restaurants close by and several entertainment choices.

The hotel is older and looks its age. Rooms could do with some modernization and updating. The outside of the property also gives a tired and worn appearance.

The cleaning staff needs to do a better job focusing on the details. There are stains on the bedding and carpet and many surfaces are sticky. The hotel also has plumbing problems with overflowing drains or stopped up pipes.

The rooms are rather small and the bathrooms are even tinier. This presents some crowding issues with two people. If more than two people are staying, the space is going to feel crowded. The beds are also small and aren't plush or relaxing.
