It wasn’t only the attitude of the host that impressed guests, but also his amazing culinary skills. They described the breakfast as exceptionally well prepared, and containing enough variety that all but the very fussiest diners would be able to find something that they liked. The host was also said to be very understanding when it came to vegetarian and other special diets.
It was mentioned that at least one if the rooms has its own private bathroom, but that this is accessed outside the room, rather than being en-suite. This did cause a small inconvenience for some guests.
