The Great Central Hotel was established in 1874 and is one f the oldest buildings in Glen Innes. The two storey building features Victorian architecture which showcases heritage colours. The hotel maintains the original charm of yesteryear with a wide verandah, welcoming fireplaces and plush seating to provide a warm friendly country atmosphere. It is located in the centre of town close to parks, shops and entertainment. There are 13 refurbished accommodation rooms with room types ranging from single, queen, twin and family rooms. All rooms include a side table, lamp, towels and soap. The hotel provides all guests with separate Male and Female bathroom facilities. Guests also have access to the guest lounge and kitchen facilities on the accommodation floor. The Hotel features a traditional bar with a pool table, restaurant and cafe. The restaurant is open six days a week with Sundays being closed. There is also a newly opened Coffee Central Cafe on the ground floor which is open 7 days for breakfast, lunch, morning and afternoon tea.
