The vicinity immediately surrounding Hyatt Regency Osaka doesn't offer a lot in terms of things to see and do. It is in something of an industrial area, with not many places to eat or entertain yourself. It's a fair distance from the main train station and there aren't any attractions of note within walking distance.
While taking the shuttle bus is a decent option for getting to the middle of Osaka, it can get booked up by tour groups, so you might have to wait a while to use it. It also takes quite some time to get where you want to go.
