Guitart Monterrey is set in beautiful gardens, with stunning outdoor pools surrounded by Balinese beds. There is a free shuttle to a private beach during the Summer and another, rather busy, public beach within a ten-minute walk.
With one of Europe's largest water parks, Waterworld, nearby and child-friendly pools in the grounds, the hotel could be an obvious choice for families. There are also several family rooms, decorated with illustrations from renowned cartoonist Pilarín Bay
There are both positives and negatives to visiting out of season; on the plus side, facilities will be quieter however, some services; such as the beach bar and shuttle to Fenals beach, will be closed.
According to previous guests, the hotel is an excellent choice for those looking for a relaxing break, but there is little in the way of entertainment if that is what you're looking for from your stay.
