Located in one of the most glamourous areas of Florence, Golden Towers is a luxury hotel that features a spa and is close to the renowned Palazzo Strozzi and Florence’s main train station. All rooms are designed in a style that mixes modern furnishings with a classic Tudor style and come fitted with a private bathroom, LCD television and a minibar. Golden Towers is home to a luxurious spa that features a Jacuzzi area and Turkish baths, furthermore Wi-Fi is free and available throughout the hotel and a car parking/valet service is offered. Breakfast is available and served daily and at dinner guests can enjoy delicious cuisine at the on-site Golden Restaurant or enjoy a cocktail at the Golden Bar. Both the Palazzo Strozzi and the Via De Tomabouni are nearby the latter of which offers numerous shopping and art options. The Florence Cathedral is a five minute walk away.

The staff are accommodating and friendly, always willing to help with guests’ queries regarding Florence or the hotel itself. The restaurant/bar staff are engaging and create a warm atmosphere while the car valets are extremely helpful.
The majority of guests were very taken with the hotel’s breakfast which they found to be delicious and satisfactory as well as being good value. Guests enjoyed the variety of options presented to them at breakfast time and found them all to be very tasty.
As the hotel is located on a narrow street, as is to be expected from the layout of the city of Florence, a number of guests were disappointed to find that the view from their room’s window was the building next door.
Some guests who had booked the least expensive rooms found that their room was somewhat small but this is often an issue with hotels located in cities like Florence.
Aside from the comments above the majority of guests cited positive experiences at Golden Towers and any negative comments were from several years ago.
